Kingsport man to be sentenced in September for role in Jan. 6 riot at US Capitol
Records from US District Court in Washington, DC, show a Kingsport, Tennessee man has pleaded guilty for his role in assaulting a Capitol policeman during the Jan. 6th breach.
Albuquerque Cosper Head entered into a plea agreement with federal prosecutors and could receive up to 8 years in prison at his sentencing on Sept. 23.
Head admitted to pulling Officer Michael Fanone into the riots by baiting him with an offer of help. Fanone went on to suffer serious injuries including a high-level concussion and a heart attack.
