Suspect Steals More Than 14 Thousand Dollars From Business, Plus Merchandise During Robbery

A Greeneville business owner is robbed of more than 14 thousand dollars in cash, plus merchandise in a Fourth of July Robbery. Greeneville Police say Kyker’s Tobacco Outlet was broken into around three a.m. Monday after a suspect gained entry through a cooler. The bandit then stole more than twelve thousand seven hundred dollars in cash from a safe and another two thousand dollars from the cash register. The lone suspect also heisted more than 60 cartons of cigarettes in his getaway. No exterior camera footage was available, however, the interior camera did capture the suspect at the front desk but a description has not been released at this time.
