Two Southwest Virginia Localities To Participate In Governor’s Tourism Initiative
Governor Glenn Youngkin is announcing Bristol, Virginia and Scott County, Virginia have been chosen to participate in new program providing them with funds to boost tourism in their respected communities. Known as Drive 2.0 and developed by the Virginia Tourism Corporation. Bristol and Scott County will now have a chance to brainstorm ways to attract visitors, then turn those plans into action. In order to receive funding, Bristol and Scott County tourism officials will be attending a series of workshops to equip them with the tools needed to create best in class promotion strategies for new and original tourism products and programs.
