Tip From Concerned Community Members Helps Authorities In Drug Investigation

An investigation that began last fall, following a tip from a concerned citizens in a Kingsport community results in the arrests of two individuals and the confiscation of more than 6 thousand dollars worth of Methamphetamine, Heroin, and multiple types of pills. 40 year old Susan R. Adams, and 39 year old Matthew J. Carpenter are jailed after the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Special Operations Unit served an outstanding warrant at a residence at 228 Asbury Street and discovered drugs and paraphernalia totaling just over 67 hundred dollars. Information to begin the investigation came from concerned members of the community.
