Tennessee Commissioner Of Labor And Workforce Development, Recommended For NESCC President

A Kingsport resident, and current Tennessee Commissioner of Labor and Workforce Development is being recommended as the next President of Northeast State Community College in Blountville. Jeff McCord, helped develop the Regional Center For Advanced Manufacturing in Kingsport’s Academic Village and is being recommended by Tennessee Board of Regents Chancellor Flora Tydings. McCord is among four finalists for the job and could be named the new President as early as next week.
