Body Found In Buchanan County Identified

The Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office is identifying a deceased body found on the banks of the Levisa River in Buchanan County as that of 47 year old Joseph Harold Belcher of Breaks, Virginia. Foul play is not suspected and the cause of death is being determined by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner of Virginia after a local examination. The case remains under investigation.
