Carter County Man Jailed After Allegedly Holding Girlfriend Against Her Will, And Burning Her With Torch
A Carter County man is behind bars after being arrested for allegedly holding his girlfriend against her will and burning her with a torch. Authorities were called to the 130 block of Elizabeth Ann Drive and found the female victim with her hands red, swollen and with abrasions, along with burn marks the woman said were caused by a blow torch used by her boyfriend Thomas Neal Williams. Officers also found evidence that Williams had barricaded the woman in the house. Williams is being held on charges of Domestic Violence and False Imprisonment.
