More Than One Thousand Left Without Power As Of Monday Morning, Following Severe Sunday Afternoon Thunderstorm

More than twelve hundred residents were still without power in and around the Kingsport area on Monday morning following a Sunday afternoon and evening severe thunderstorm. High winds and heavy rain blew trees down or made contact with structures according to Appalachian Power. Some of those residents effected were to receive power by noon, with other outages being restored by ten this evening.
