Report: Kingsport woman dead after tree falls on vehicle

A Kingsport woman has died after a tree fell on her vehicle during severe thunderstorms Sunday evening. According to a report from Kingsport Police, Laura Castle, 51, was driving near the intersection of Shady View Road and West Pond Springs Road when a tree fell on her 2005 Jeep Liberty.

The report says Castle was killed during the accident.
