Erwin tree lighting, craft market happening Dec. 2

The 19th Annual Town of Erwin Tree Lighting ceremony happens on Friday. Organizers say the public is invited to a new feature this year—before the tree lighting is a holiday market called “Santa’s Village”, happening in the Erwin Town Hall parking lot.

The market will include dozens of food and craft vendors, as well as train rides, horse and carriage rides, kids’ activities, and s’mores by the fire. The holiday market happens downtown from 5 to 7:30 Friday night, immediately followed by the Erwin Christmas Tree Lighting.
