South Fork Utility finishes waterline repairs on Weaver Pike

Officials with South Fork Utility say a waterline repair on Weaver Pike in Bristol is finished, and water service for area residents is returning. According to a post on the district’s new social media page, crews finished with the repair Monday night, and only had final touches Tuesday morning before water is restored.

Monday’s mainline break is the second in the Weaver Pike area– it comes just weeks after a major break left customers without water and temporarily under a boil notice. Additionally, South Fork says Monday a pin hole leak was found in a waterline on Booher Drive, but customers should not see any interruptions during those repairs.
