UPDATE: Two men charged with first degree murder in Elizabethton shooting

Two men are in custody, charged with first degree murder in Carter County following a shooting that happened December 1st. Elizabethton Police say persons of interest in the death of Phillip Glass, 31, were taken into custody Saturday morning.

Cody Alan Miller, 23, is charged with first degree murder, while Kimberly Thomas, 20, was released after questioning. A second man, Brandon Lee Blackwell, 34, was identified as a suspect and is now also charged with first degree murder. Elizabethton Police say the investigation into the shooting death of Phillip Glass is ongoing.
