Highway officials put drivers on notice for snowy conditions
Transportation officials in Virginia have posted a warning to motorists planning weekend travel.
A VDOT message said all travel districts are being prepped for a potential winter storm that could bring mixed precipitation and result in hazardous roads.
Measurable snow totals are predicted for cities above Roanoke. VDOT will post updated road conditions on 511Virginia.org.
