WCSO arrest Jonesborough man for assault

Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 40 year old John Frye of Jonesborough on Jan. 5 and charged him with Aggravated Domestic Assault. Sheriff Keith Sexton says deputies responded to a reported domestic assault involving a firearm at a residence on Charlie Hicks Road. The victim told Deputies that Frye threatened her with a pistol during an argument. Deputies located the firearm at the residence and arrested Frye. He is being held in the Washington County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond and and has a court appearance on January 17.
