NEW: Castlewood dad found guilty of child neglect

A jury in Russell County rendered a guilty verdict to a man that police said kept his disabled son in a box trailer.

Michael Park of Castlewood, will be sentenced in April after his trial was concluded this week. The case was based on a December 2022 investigation at a home on Gravel Lick where the child was found with frostbite, resulting in the amputation of his legs.

Police determined Park and his girlfriend, Rebecca Bremner, gave the boy a bucket for a bathroom and would place him in an outdoor tub for baths.

A family member told Bristol Broadcasting News the child named ‘Kai’ was receiving mental and physical health assistance.
