JC Public Works to close one lane of Buffalo Road

Johnson City Public Works will close one lane of Buffalo Road between Cherokee Road and Lafe Cox Drive beginning Wednesday, Jan. 31. The closure will impact traffic 24 hours a day while crews complete the necessary work. The estimated completion date is Wednesday, Feb. 7 depending on weather conditions. Detour signage will be in place. Drivers who cannot avoid the area should expect delays, use caution in the construction zone, and observe posted speed limits.
