UPDATE: Arrest made in Kingsport apartment shooting case

A 14-year-old Kingsport juvenile was arrested and charged in connection with a Tuesday shooting at Holston Terrace Apartments.

The suspect is accused of killing another 14-year-old identified by investigators as a Dobyns Bennett High School student. The teen is charged with criminally negligent homicide and possession of a handgun.

City police said more details into the event that occurred at the complex off Bowater Drive will be released at a later date.
