JCPD arrest Erwin man for aggravated assault

Johnson City Police officers arrested 49 year old Glen W. Hicks of Erwin on aggravated assault charges. The arrest began as an investigation into a report of suspicious persons and a disturbance in the back parking lot of a motel on Browns Mill Road on Tuesday, February 20th. Officers victims and witnesses told police that Hicks had threatened the victim with a gun. Hicks was arrested and transported to the Washington County Detention Center.
