Firefighters respond to fire at former Virginia Intermont campus

Firefighters in Bristol, Virginia responded to a fire at the former Virginia Intermont College on Monday. A city report from Bristol, Virginia said firefighters responded to the fire at the former campus just after 5 p.m. Firefighters found the fire burning in the swimming pool at the college. Officials say that apparently trespassers had set fire to rubbish and it looks the fire got out of hand. The fire is being considered suspicious. No one was inside the building and no injuries were reported.
