Tennessee Gov. Lee visits Johnson City
Tennessee Governor Bill Lee was in Johnson City Wednesday to see the new visitor center and the new renovations at the Ashe Street Courthouse. He spoke with leaders in Johnson City as he toured both locations touting the benefits to the Tri Cities projects like these bring, saying that it makes for a business friendly environment and a place that people “want to invest their lives and their livelihoods” in. The Visit Johnson City visitor’s center opened last November in the train depot on Buffalo Street. Governor Lee was also able to see the 5 million dollar renovation project at the Ashe Street Courthouse building.
