TBI and GCSD investigating fatal Greene County fire

An investigation into a fatal fire is underway in Greene County. The Greene County Sheriff’s Office says fire crews responded to a burning trailer on Lobo Loop Tuesday evening around 6:15 p.m. Deputies arrived on the scene and were told by a neighbor that someone could be inside. After making entry, first responders discovered the bodies of a man and a dog. The victim has been identified as 31-year-old William Arrowood. Officials said he was a resident of the home. His body was sent to the William L. Jenkins Forensic Center at ETSU for an autopsy. The TBI is assisting in the investigation.
