Pedestrian killed by train in Johnson City Saturday Morning

The Johnson City Police Department says a pedestrian has died after being struck by a train downtown early Saturday morning. Police said the incident took place just before 1 a.m. Saturday near Market Street and Windsor Way. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say an investigation is underway and more details will be released when they become available.
