JC Planning Commission recommends rezoning near Gray Station Road

Tuesday, the Johnson City Planning Commission recommended approval for rezoning and annexing the property just off Gray Station Road between Delmer Salts Road and Suncrest Village Lane. The land currently has an agriculture zoning designation, but is surrounded by residential development and not far from Ridgeview K-8 school and Daniel Boone High School. The developers want to build 30 single-family homes on about 10 acres. The dwellings will be around sixteen to seventeen hundred square feet each.
