Dirt tracks schedule celebration of life ceremonies for Scott Bloomquist

Funeral arrangements are pending for dirt track legend Scott Bloomquist who died in a plane crash on Friday near his family farm.

Two celebration of life ceremonies have been scheduled; the first will be held September 7 at Eldora Speedway in Ohio–the track where he won the coveted Dream dirt race feature 14 times. That includes seven consecutive wins for the event beginning in 2002.
The other event is September 12 at Bulls Gap Speedway.

According to Scott’s obituary, those wanting to express sympathy can donate to his daughter’s Ariel’s college fund. She is a freshman at ETSU.
