TN and VA report record-breaking tourism revenue

Tourism and the revenue it brings in TN and VA continues to break records. The Tennessee Department of Tourist Development reports that the state saw a record-breaking 30.6 billion dollars in direct visitor spending in 2023. Tourism numbers in Virginia also saw a record-breaking year with 33.3 billion dollars in revenue. Tourism in both states are big job creators in each state with the tourism industry supporting more than 200,000 jobs in Virginia and more than 190,000 jobs in Tennessee.
