10 arrested in SWVA drug ring bust

Ten people were arrested after their involvement in an alleged drug ring that distributed fentanyl and methamphetamine in Southwest Virginia. Between 2021 and 2024, an investigation involving several law enforcement agencies, determined members of the ring traveled to supply sources in North Carolina and Kentucky to obtain fentanyl pills, fentanyl powder and methamphetamine, then brought the drugs back for distribution. The accused individuals face federal charges after conspiring to distribute large amounts of meth and fentanyl in Southwest Virginia.
