Former James H. Quillen VA director resigns from reassigned position
The former director of the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center has resigned from the position he was temporarily reassigned to in July. Dean Borsos, the medical center’s former director, was temporarily reassigned to the VA MidSouth Healthcare System network director’s office in July. Former associate director Dr. Colleen Noe was also temporarily detailed to the Veterans Integrated Services Network office in Nashville. The pair were temporarily reassigned amid an investigation into allegations of wrongdoing and failure to follow VA processes properly. VA spokesperson confirmed Borsos had resigned on August 21. Noe remains in her reassigned position in Nashville as the investigation continues.
