Carter County Schools providing hot meals and other services

Carter County Schools are providing hot meals, laundry services and other needs to those impacted by severe weather and flooding. Meals can be picked up Monday-Friday from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. until further notice at Cloudland Elementary in Roan Mountain, Hampton Elementary, Happy Valley Elementary on the Milligan Highway and Hunter Elementary on Hope Street in Elizabethton. Those needing laundry services are asked to contact the Director of Federal Programs, Katherine Hyder, at 423-547-4007.
