Bluff City Mayor resigns

Bluff City Mayor Jeff Broyles announced on Wednesday evening he will resign as the town’s mayor. Broyles made the announcement on a social media post that said he and his family made the decision and that quote “Dirty politics certainly ruled the day.” Broyles said his office has been cleared and his resignation would be effective at 10 a.m. Thursday. He ended the post by saying he is deeply concerned for the town.
