Beacon Center poll produces no surprises in final survey before Election Day
The final Beacon Center poll before Election Day shows Donald Trump with a 21 point lead over Vice President Kamala Harris in Tennessee.
Although Harris came in at 35 percent among 1,000 registered voters, it is still 7 points higher than projections for President Biden. In the GOP majority state, JD Vance also received a higher vote total than Governor Tim Walz in the Vice Presidential category.
For a hypothetical question based on the recent hurricane season, 58 percent of those Tennesseans said Trump would handle a natural disaster recovery effort better than Harris.
In the US Senate race, Republican Senator Marsha Blackburn has surged ahead of Democrat Gloria Johnson by 23 points and has gained 22 percent of the independent vote.
