Juvenile flown to hospital after motorcycle crash in Bristol

Bristol, VA police say a juvenile was sent to the hospital after a crash Friday afternoon, around 4:00p.m. at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd and Mary Street. A preliminary investigation revealed that the juvenile driver of a Harley Davidson motorcycle was driving recklessly and failed to obey a traffic signal and the right of way, and ran into a Chevrolet van. The juvenile was flown by helicopter to JCMC with facial injures, but was alert and talking. Police say charges are pending.
