Johnson City man arrested for violating protection order/burglary

Washington County, TN Sheriff’s Deputies have arrested 39 year old Benny Everett Fisher of Johnson City and charged him with Violation of Order of Protection and Burglary. Deputies responded to a call on Herb Hodge Road shortly before 9 a.m. Sunday. They found Fisher in the backyard of the residence of the victim, who has an active Order of Protection against him. Fisher had reportedly forced his way through the side door of the residence. The victim retreated to the bedroom and called 911. Fisher has multiple past offenses of domestic violence and violation of orders of protection, with the most recent being November 17. Fisher was taken to the Washington County Detention Center.
