TN hunting, fishing and boating license fees to increase in 2025
At the Tennessee Fish and Wildlife Commission’s final meeting for the year, the agency approved rules to increase boating registration fees by 22% and most of the hunting and fishing license prices by 28%. In addition to price increases, the ruling adjusts the license structure to simplify regulations. Sportsman and lifetime license fees were increased by 12%. The newly approved rules must be filed with the Secretary of State by March 31, 2025. Those rules will be reviewed by a joint government operations committee in June before any cost increases would go into effect on July 1, 2025.
