FEMA: Greene County Disaster Recovery Center to close

FEMA announced that its Disaster Recovery Center in Greene County will permanently close Saturday. The Disaster Recovery Center at the Greene County Courthouse will permanently close 5 p.m. Saturday, according to a release sent from FEMA. The release said residents affected by Hurricane Helene who still need services can call the FEMA Helpline at 800-621-3362 from 7 a.m. to midnight, visit Disaster Assistance dot gov, or visit a Disaster Recovery Center in Carter, Cocke, Johnson, Unicoi, or Washington Counties.
