Average gasoline prices have started to increase in Virginia, rising 0.5 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.88 per gallon today, according to GasBuddy’s latest survey stations in Virginia. Prices in Virginia are 12.0 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 7.7 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The cheapest station in Virginia was priced at $2.45 per gallon, while the most expensive was $3.99. The national average price of gasoline is $2.98 per gallon.
