One person injured in apparent road rage incident in Johnson City
TUESDAY, 6:11 P.M.
A Johnson City driver was charged with two counts of aggravated assault and four counts of felony reckless endangerment after police labeled a Tuesday afternoon incident as road rage.
Officers located the suspect, 34-year-old Jacob Holmes, at the scene where the victim was being treated for one shot to the torso that police said was fired by Holmes on North Roan Street.
Holmes was taken to JCPD headquarters for questioning while the victim was rushed to an area hospital.

A report issued Tuesday afternoon said officers with the Johnson City Police Department were investigating reports of a road rage incident off of Interstate 26.
The statement said investigators shut down the roadway at the corner of North Roan Street and 11th Avenue.
The city report said one person was injured and one person was in custody. The identities of the people involved in the incident have not been released. The intersection closed off for police work was reopened to traffic just after 3 p.m. Tuesday.
