Gasoline prices show decline in Virginia

Average gasoline prices in Virginia have fallen 6.6 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.03 per gallon according to GasBuddy’s survey of Virginia gas stations. Prices in Virginia are 9.1 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand 2.7 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The cheapest station in Virginia was priced at $2.49 per gallon yesterday while the most expensive was $3.99 per gallon. The national average price of gasoline has fallen 3.5 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.04/g.
