New medical program aims to help the regions veterans

A new medical foster home program has been launched in the region, aiming to make a significant impact on local veterans. The initiative allows caregivers to open their homes to up to three veterans, providing essential daily living assistance such as bathing, dressing, home-cooked meals, laundry, and leisure activities. The James H. Quillen VA Medical Center is actively seeking compassionate caregivers to participate in this new program, which offers an alternative to traditional assisted living or nursing home care.
