Road Improvement Projects Set To Begin In Northeast Tennessee

Two Northeast Tennessee road projects are now set to begin as part of the Governor’s IMPROVE Act for transportation improvements across the state. Work will soon begin on a project in Boones Creek beside Interstate 26 at the State Route 354 interchange. The other road improvement work is located at Locust Lane in Unicoi County to replace a bridge. The IMPROVE Act is placing its emphasis on repairs and replacement of bridges and roads as part of 116 statewide road improvement projects.
