Domestic call at Johnson City home leads to kidnapping charge

A Johnson City man is charged when police arrive to a home after a report of shots fired. Christopher Pickering is facing one count of aggravated kidnapping and aggravated domestic assault following an investigation at a dwelling in the 200 block of Big Valley Drive. The victim told officers that Pickering used a gun to threaten them and keep them inside the home. He was jailed in Jonesborough and issued a $100,000 bond.
