Tennessee higher ed officials say possible breach of website used by thousands of high school students

A website designed to help high school seniors with plans for college has been taken offline as an investigation is launched into a possible cyber attack. Officials with the Tennessee Higher Education Commission reported the possible data breach Tuesday involving a third party vendor that helps with data collection for the site CollegeForTN.org which has hosted thousands of students. A preliminary report said no personal data was taken but the site will remain closed until a formal investigation is concluded.
