Stabbing Incident In Dickenson County Virginia Sends Two To Hospital… Suspect Arrested

One person is recovering after a stabbing incident overnight in Dickenson County Virginia. The confrontation occurred in the Hazel Mountain area of Dickenson County around eight forty five Tuesday night. Police have charged Kerry Wright and charged him with malicious wounding after he stabbed the victim on Dobish Drive off of Counts Ridge. The victim was flown by helicopter to Bristol Regional Medical Center for treatment of stab wounds. Wright fled before authorities arrived on the scene. He later drove himself to the hospital for treatment of his injuries and was then arrested.
