Thursday, Ballad Health officials released information showing the health care provider invested its entire operating income during 2018 for nursing wage increases. Ballad, in its first full fiscal year of operation surpassed expected results in quality performance leading to lower costs which also allowed Ballad to make additional investments in nursing resources, which company official hope will alleviate the stress of the nursing shortage on its staff.
