Eight Member Task Force Created by SWVA Health Authority, Will Monitor Ballad Health Activity
A task force has been created by the Southwest Virginia Health Authority to review and monitor activity of Ballad Health.
Health Authority Chairman and Virginia delegate Terry Kilgore announced that eight members were appointed to the task force, which was created in June at a Board of Directors meeting. In addition to monitoring Ballad Health’s activity, they will serve as a liaison for the public to comment on the effects of the region’s primary health care company.
Listed below are the eight members appointed to the task force:

Catherine Brillhart, representing the City of Bristol
Sue Cantrell, representing Lenowisco Health District/Cumberland Plateau Health District
Sam Neese, representing Washington County
Dixie Took-Rawlins, representing Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine
Sandy O’Dell, representing Frontier Health
Donna Henry, representing University of Virginia’s College at Wise
Todd Pillion, Delegate, Virginia General Assembly
