UPDATE: Suspected Greeneville killer in court in Florida
Stanley Mossburg told reporters he was a prophet not a serial killer as he was being led to a squad car. He said that his three victims were killed because “God needed them.”
Mossburg made his first court appearance in Florida Wednesday since being charged with the random killings of three people including a man in Greeneville, Tennessee earlier this month. He was captured in Winter Haven after a shootout with police. Mossburg will be arraigned on 15 charges including two counts of first degree murder on Nov. 19. He remains jailed without bond.
