Suspect Arrested In Connection With Kingsport Murder

A 28 year old murder suspect is awaiting his arraignment after being arrested and charged with a recent homicide in Kingsport. 28 year old Corey Lee Moore is charged with the shooting death of 56 year old Timothy Gilliam. Police were called to a residence at 524 Stapleton Drive just before nine p.m. Thursday and discovered the body of Gilliam…dead from apparent gunshot wounds. Moore was arrested Saturday morning and is being held without bond while he awaits his arraignment. So far police have not released information on any possible motive in shooting death.
