Two dead, two injured following early Sunday head-on accident on US 19E

Two people are dead following a head on collision early Sunday morning on US19E in Carter County.

According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, a 2010 Dodge Charger driven by Kyle Moore, 23, was traveling south when it crossed the center line, colliding with a 2015 Chevy Silverado head on.

Moore and passenger Luke Fronckoski, 23, were killed in the accident. The other vehicle driven by John Vance, 67, and his passenger Salvador Elvira, 42, were both injured.

The wreck happened close to the Tennessee North Carolina border just before 2:00 a.m Sunday and remains under investigation.
