Washington County, VA capital murder suspect has case pushed to 2020
It will be at least 2020 before a Washington County, Virginia man appears in court again on charges that include three counts of capital murder.
James Michael Wright was scheduled to appear in court earlier this month, but according to Commonwealth’s Attorney Josh Cumbow, the December court date has been rescheduled to April. Wright is accused of killing three women over a three week period between February and March of this year, including a 17-year old from Georgia. Prosecutors say the death penalty is on the table in the case against Wright.
He is scheduled to appear in Washington County General District Court April 30th.
