Early Voting Total In Sullivan County Down Nearly 20 Percent

Overall turnout for early voting in Sullivan County is down nearly 20 percent from the last election cycle. Early voting began April 11 and concluded April 26. Countywide, just over seven thousand votes were cast…down 16 percent from the last election in 2014. The Kingsport Civic Auditorium had the largest turnout with just over three thousand votes…but those results show a ten percent decrease since the last election was held. Primary elections are tomorrow.
