Point In Time Homeless Survey To Be Utilized By New City Homeless Position

When the City of Kingpsort conducts its annual point in time survey of the homeless population next week some of the findings from that questionnaire will be utilized by a newly created position to address the homeless situation in the city. The Homeless Liason Services position with the United Way of Greater Kingpsort was formed in response to a recent increase in the number of homeless people in the city. Jonathan Anderson is the Homeless Liason Director for Kingsport. The annual point in time, Homeless Survey will take place next Wednesday and will conclude on Thursday. The United Way of Greater Kingsport is also looking for volunteers to help conduct the survey.
